Questions
Image Converter FAQ
Which image formats can I convert?
The converter accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images and can output JPG, PNG, or WebP files from the same batch.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Images are decoded, converted, and packaged for download inside your browser. Utilshub does not receive the files.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the selected background color.
Why can the converted image be larger?
Conversion re-encodes the pixels. Depending on the source compression, selected format, and quality, the output can be larger than the original.
Does conversion keep metadata?
No guarantee. Browser canvas conversion usually creates a fresh image file, so EXIF, GPS, color profile details, and other metadata may be removed.
