Questions
Image Resizer FAQ
Are my images uploaded when I resize them?
No. Images are decoded, resized, and packaged for download inside your browser. Utilshub does not receive the files.
Does resizing crop the image?
No. This tool scales the whole image to the selected width and height. Cropping is intentionally left for a separate image crop tool.
Which output format should I choose?
WebP is a good default for small web images, JPG is useful for photos and compatibility, and PNG is best when you need transparency.
Does resizing keep metadata?
No guarantee. Browser canvas resizing creates a fresh image file, so EXIF, GPS, color profile details, and other metadata may be removed.
